Well, I am writing my first post and it is the end of March (better late than never, right?). Still many important things to teach before we round out the school year. Writing just happens to be a personal favorite. We will be testing out our How-To Writing pieces on Monday. The kids always love this because I model How-To writing by writing about How-To Make Indoor S'mores! Who wouldn't want to try that out! I will post some pics from our fun tomorrow.

We will be done with these pieces by the end of the week and then we move on to persuasive writing. My good friend and colleague came in to model a persuasive writing unit last year at this time so now it is time to try it on my own. Use this link to check out the organizers
